What is Skiltap?
Skiltap is a marketplace app that connects you with local service professionals. You post a request, compare quotes, pay securely in the app, and release payment once the job is done.
How does paying work?
When you accept a quote you pay in the app through Stripe. The money is held in escrow and released to the pro only after you confirm the job is complete. If something isn't right, you can report a problem in the app before releasing payment.
How are pros verified?
Before a pro can receive payouts, they complete identity verification with Stripe. Pros are independent businesses responsible for having the licenses and insurance their work requires.
Can I message a pro before booking?
Yes. You can chat with pros about your request in the app before and after you book.
I'm a pro. How do I join?
Download the app, sign up as a provider, set up your profile and services, and connect payouts with Stripe. Then browse requests near you and send quotes.
When is Skiltap available?
Skiltap is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone.
